Meet our Teachers

Our faculty and staff are committed Christians and the heart of our school. They are certified educators and many hold advanced degrees. Cornerstone teachers have chosen to teach in a Christian environment where they exercise the freedom to wrap academic excellence in biblical truth. This freedom enables them to educate the whole child. Small class sizes allow teachers to celebrate every student, recognizing each for their unique gifts and talents.

Kylie Jones

1st & 2nd Grade Teacher

Mrs. Jones attended Missouri Southern State University in Joplin, MO, but finished her Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education through Central Methodist University in Fayette, MO. This is her 8th year of teaching, and her 4th year at Cornerstone Academy. Mrs. Jones has taught grades Kindergarten to 6th grade in the past 7 years, but has loved switching to teach the younger grade levels.

Mrs. Jones truly believes teaching is her mission field. Although she strives to teach children the fundamentals of “reading, writing and arithmetic” and everything in between, her greatest goal is to help her students develop a personal relationship with Jesus. She believes children need to know they are special, loved and created for a purpose in order to be successful and tries her best daily to provide a loving, nurturing environment for her students in her classroom.  Her favorite Bible verse is I Thessalonians 5:16 "Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you."

Mrs. Jones and her husband, Ebbie, live in the country with their two children, Remington and Rylynn. They have 2 dogs, Dixie and Scout. Mrs. Jones enjoys hunting, fishing, gardening, reading, and sewing. She LOVES to be outside!

Mrs. Warstadt has been married to her husband for 10 years and they have 3 children; Silas, Eden, and Raleigh. She and her family enjoy spending time outdoors, playing board games, coloring, and movie nights!

Hannah Orick

Middle School History  Teacher

Hello, my name is Mrs. Orick.
I am so thankful I get the honor to teach at Cornerstone Academy of the Ozarks. I am a wife to my husband Phillip Orick of 13 years. Together we have 3 wonderful, ornery boys. We have twins who are now 9, and our younger son who is 8. We are a family based on the solid rock of Jesus Christ, and for that I am forever thankful!
At Cornerstone I teach history ( and I teach my students it’s HIS-STORY! )
I also teach a ladies-ships class for the young women. I love the staff and the freedom to say our pledges each day during rise and shine, and to pray to the Lord whenever we need or desire to!
